Extra Squishy Flapjacks

Ingredients

250g Butter

250g Light Brown Soft Sugar

10 tbsp Golden Syrup

450g Porridge Oats

Method

Just the scummiest, squidgiest flapjacks ever. They are so easy and can be cooked in different sized and shaped tins.

STEP 1
Preheat the oven to 190C, 375F, Gas Mark 5.

STEP 2
Line a deep baking tray with baking paper.   I don’t worry about the exact size – scrumple some silver foil if you need to make your tin ‘shorter’.

STEP 3
Melt the butter in a large pan and stir in the sugar and syrup.  Add the porridge oats and mix well.

STEP 4
Transfer the mixture to the tin and smooth over.  Bake for 12 minutes

TO SERVE
Leave to cool and then cut into squares (any enjoy).
